Who are we helping?
Most people come to us about a parent. Plenty come about their own home. Same service either way.
- A free visit. We look at the whole house and talk to your parent, not over them.
- A plan in writing. Prices and a sensible order. Nothing is booked until you say yes.
- We arrange all of it. The right person on each job, managed and signed off by us.
- You can see it from anywhere. What is booked, what is done, what it cost.
- We keep calling in. Monthly checks and small jobs, for members.
- A free visit. We look round at your pace. Nothing sold on the doorstep.
- A plan in writing. Say yes to as much or as little of it as you want.
- We sort the work out. One number to ring. We check the job before you pay for it.
- Family in the loop, if you want. You decide who sees what.
- We stay on hand. Monthly checks and small jobs, for members.
Two sides to what we do
The work that makes a house safer, and the help with everything that has got harder around it. Most people need a bit of both.
THE WORK ITSELF
Home and works
Rails, stairlifts, wet rooms, ramps, lighting and security. Priced in writing, managed by us, and signed off by us.

KEEPING IT THAT WAY
Support and everyday help
Check-in visits to see that everything still works, and a hand with the household jobs that have got harder.

HOW WE WORK
We oversee every job from start to finish
We specify the work, select the best person for the task, brief them, oversee the job, inspect it and sign it off. You deal with us throughout, and if anything needs putting right, we put it right.
The right person for the task
Chosen for that particular job, from a team we know and trust. Never simply whoever is free.
Vetted before they set foot inside
Our own assessor is DBS checked. Everyone we send is vetted by us, and is someone we have worked with before.
Nothing is signed off until we have seen it
We inspect the finished work against the plan, and the invoice only follows once we are happy with it.
Where to start
FREE, TWO MINUTES
Not sure what would help? Answer a few questions
Plain questions about the house and how your mum or dad manages in it. At the end you get a short list of what we would do first, and what it usually involves. Tell us if you already know what you want and we will start there.
No obligation, and no one turns up unless you ask.
Why families trust us with a parent's home
We talk to your parent
They are the customer. They decide what happens in their house.
The accountability is ours
If a job is not right, you tell us and we put it right. You never have to argue with a contractor.
One point of contact
You are not ringing round four trades or waiting in for someone who never comes. That is our job.
Local, and staying that way
We work in North Devon only. Our reputation here is the whole business.
Everything we do is written down, and you can see it
After the assessment you get a written report, room by room, with each suggestion marked by how much difference it would make. Every visit after that adds a note of what was checked and what was done.
It all sits on the family portal, readable on a phone from wherever you live. Anything that needs doing is listed with a price, and nothing is carried out until it has been approved there.

THE HOME ASSESSMENT
It starts with someone looking at the whole house
We walk round every room with your mum or dad, then put a written plan with prices on your portal. Family can join by video call.
What the assessment coversAcross North Devon
Barnstaple, Bideford, Ilfracombe, South Molton, Braunton, Great Torrington and the villages in between.

Tell us what has been on your mind. If we are not the right people, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
Most people get in touch about a parent. Plenty get in touch about their own home, and that is just as welcome.
Free, and no obligation to book anything afterwards.
